Jesse James, who is an all around awesome dude, just plugged Golden Apple Comics on Howard Stern this past week. He was asked about where he got his start and it just so happens that Bill Liebowitz gave him his start working security for events back in the day!!!

William Shatner made a huge guest appearance for his new comic "William Shatner Presents #1". It was freebie for free comic book day so fans could come down get a free comic and enjoy the comic scenery.

Drink n' Draw (Come get ridiculous with not so sober artists)

This Friday the 29th of August, from 7:30 until 10 we will be having a DRINK N' DRAW event here at Golden Apple. If you are confused as to what exactly a drink and draw event is, here's a quick explanation.... Artists (regular and the comic book variety) come here and do sketches of whatever you want them to, whilst being extremely (or maybe not so) drunk.

There will be a lot of artists here doing sketches and it isn't quite like a normal comic book signing in any respect. Usually you would have to buy a certain comic or bring in a specific item for them to sketch on. This one is totally up to you.

So come on in, stop on by, and join us for this 200 proof event. We hope to see you here.
